The department

A successful learning journey

Years 10 and 11 sit at the turning point of the MGIS journey: the two-year Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel curriculum leads to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education — the qualification on which a Sixth Form place is built.

At this level, parents and students choose subjects around interest and career goals. The curriculum has core subjects, which all students must study, and optional subjects chosen from a prescribed menu across five groups.

Studying in the Senior High School gives learners a broad knowledge base with lifelong skills — the kind that make them glorious all the time.

"It is our desire that all our students have a successful learning journey in an enabling environment."
