Who we are
This website, morningglory-school.com, is published by Morning Glory International School, a private Christian international school in Bingerville, Côte d'Ivoire. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page, and we handle it under Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data, supervised by the Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications/TIC de Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI).
For anything in this policy, write to info@morningloryinternational.com. The address reaches the school office directly.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. Our enquiry, contact and alumni forms ask for your name, your contact details, your child's year group and your message — nothing more. We do not ask for sensitive information of any kind, and we ask you not to include any in your message.
The forms on this site are not connected to an automated system: when you complete one, it directs you to send your details to us by email, so your information reaches us as an ordinary email to the school office.
Browsing the site itself tells us nothing about you. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The one thing stored on your device is a single preference recording your cookie choice, described in our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it
For two purposes only: to respond to your enquiry, and — where you have asked about a place for your child — to follow up with you as part of the admissions process. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for.
What we never do
We never sell personal information — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, for any reason.
Third-party services
The only third-party service this site can load is the tawk.to live chat, and it loads only after you choose "Accept & enable chat" on the cookie banner. If you use the chat, tawk.to processes your messages and sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. If you choose "Essential only", no third-party script loads at all.
How long we keep information
For as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry or your child's admission, and no longer. Information that is no longer needed for the purpose you sent it for is deleted.
Your rights
Law No. 2013-450 gives you the right to:
- Access — ask what information we hold about you;
- Rectification — ask us to correct anything inaccurate;
- Deletion — ask us to erase your information;
- Objection — object to our processing of it.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@morningloryinternational.com, ideally from the address you first wrote to us from so that we can identify your information. We will respond to every request.
Children's information
We are a school: much of the information families send us concerns children. We treat any detail about a child — a name, a year group, anything in your message — with particular care. It is seen only by the staff who need it to handle your enquiry or your child's admission, and it is never used for anything else.
How to complain
If you believe we have mishandled your information, please write to us first at info@morningloryinternational.com — we would rather put it right than have you worry. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with ARTCI, the supervisory authority for personal data protection in Côte d'Ivoire.
