International Day Celebrations at MGIS 2011

In a colourful blend of humanity, the 21st of October was celebrated as International Day at MGIS. Over 15 nationalies had their flags hoisted as they sang to the melodious tunes of cherished national anthems and pledges of alliance.

The Theme for this year's celebration: Celebrating People, Diversity and Life, was manifest as students cheered and heartily danced to the diverse cultural displays and songs of other nationalities.

The message was clear; 'we are one people in different shades of skin colours and ideas for the purposes of beauty and life'. MCs for the Programme; Darack Nanto (Grade 12) and Martha Archa (Grade 10).
