PRIMARY

You are warmly welcome to the HEART of our great school. This is the department where learners spend the most part of their school years. We pride ourselves in our vital role as the consolidating factor in strengthening the foundations of our learners have built in Preschool and Year 1. These foundations are not only academicals but also spiritual and social to develop our learners into future leaders.

We consider ourselves successful when the children in our care have the best pastoral support as well as the best academic mentoring, personalised to their individual needs. No child is left behind– is one of our guiding mantras.

The primary department caters to learners from Year 2 to Year 6 (6 to 11 year-olds) using the Cambridge Assessment International Exams and Pearson Edexcel curriculums. Our Years 4 and 5 students write the International School Assessment Exams in February while Year 6 students write the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examinations in English, Mathematics and Science in the month of April. The diagnostic reports of these externally administered exams help us to make informed learning plans for each individual learner to bring out the best in them.

It is our desire that our children with the help of our empathic and competent teachers will become confident, responsible, reflective, engaged and innovative learners.

The primary department is a place of marvel, caring and learning that is always welcoming to all.
