PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN
Welcome to the MGIS Preschool and Year 1.
Here at MGIS, we seek to provide a caring and stimulating learning environment that meets the needs of each individual child by building a firm foundation needed for his/her future academic journey. Our programme is a blend of the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and Scholastic Early Childhood Program with some incorporation of Jolly phonics language techniques which adequately prepares our learners for the Cambridge Assessment International Exams curriculum and Pearson Edexcel in Year 1. We provide clear instruction in early language, reading and math skills by combining child-centered explorations with teacher- guided supervision.
The Preschool and Year 1 caters to children aged between 2 and 5 years grouped into the following classes:
- Playgroup (2 year-olds)
- Pre-KA (3 year-olds)
- Pre-KB (4 years-old)
- Year 1 (5 year-olds)
Our experienced staff is resourcefully ready to give the little ones their best learning experience with beautiful memories to hold on to throughout their lives.
