Welcome / Akwaba / Bienvenu

The modern world makes enormous demands of our young people. At Morning Glory International school, we pride ourselves on giving them the breadth of learning and the range of skills they need to take their places as the leaders of tomorrow. At the same time, we encourage in them the qualities that will enable them to exercise that leadership with wisdom, humility and compassion.

We are delighted that you have begun to explore the many great things on offer at Morning Glory International school. We would like to invite you to get to know us better by visiting us in person. We are very proud of our school. When you come to see us, we are sure you will understand why.

Headmistress' Welcome Message

The 2011/2012 academic year begins for the greater majority of our students on Tuesday 6th September 2011 and on Tuesday the 13th, a week later, for students entering the all new Sixth Form College.
We are delighted to welcome, into our learning community, new students who excelled in their entrance tests and encourage them to participate in all school activities.

Cambridge Exams

Congratulations to the May/June 2011 Cambridge Exams candidates. The results have been exemplary. We recognize the challenges you had to put up with as a result of the political unrest in Ivory Coast which resulted in your relocation to Ghana and, appreciate your spirit of tolerance, hard work, determination and achievement. We are proud of you all.
We are delighted to mention that our students have gained admission to some prestigious universities around the world; University of Southampton UK and University of Tennessee in the USA, to mention a few. To our students who are leaving to other higher levels of learning, we wish you all the best. Do not forget the deep character lessons you have inherited from Morning Glory.

Parents and guardians

Parents are advised to procure all necessary learning material for their wards and settle instalment fees on time. We encourage active engagement in the learning of their children to realise complete success. Take note of important dates in the school’s handbook and on the school’s website (www.morningglory-school.com). Parents should encourage their wards to abide by all school rules and regulations to ensure discipline and a congenial learning environment.
Once again we welcome all to an exciting new year!
