African Leadership Academy Model African Union Conference 2018 in South Africa (ALAMAU 2018)

Over the last three consecutive years, MGIS has participated in the African Leadership Academy’s Model African Union (ALAMAU) with great enthusiasm and anticipation.
The Summit simulates African leaders in their most important roles as negotiators with other leaders on critical continental issues that range from Science and technology, terrorism and war, peace and diplomacy.
This year’s summit lived up to the expectations of all who attended including four energetic delegates from Morning Glory; Corban Preston (Year 11), Erin Soro (Year 12), Michael Kouassi (Year 12), and Mohamed Diarra (Year 13)
They returned from the summit with very profound insights and ideas that will impact their role in transforming their various communities for the better in the future.
Morning Glory was recognized with a STALWART AWARD for the school’s consistent involvement in the summit for the last three consecutive years.
Our hope is that, the seeds sown into the minds and hearts of our young students at such leadership summits will sprout into acts of great impact that will benefit all mankind.
